Oahu (O'ahu) is the third largest of the Hawaiian islands, and is the island I reside on.

It is separated from the islands of Kauai (northwest) and Molokai (southeast) by the Kauai and Kaiwi channels, respectively. This island occupies an area of 597 square miles (1,546 square km), and supports the greatest number of people, it is known as the most "industrial/touristy". Two parallel mountain groups, the Koolau and Waianae ranges, are connected by a central plateau. I have been lucky enough to call this island home for 4 years now, and have met a lot of amazing people and seen some incredible sites. Every island has some similarities, but also many unique features that draw people in more than others. Oahu is a good mix of it all, and with so much to see and do, I think everyone will leave with a love and appreciation for this island.
